To keep your vehicle wrap looking fresh and lasting as long as possible, a little care goes a long way. Here’s how to maintain your wrap and protect your investment
Wait Before Washing
Avoid washing your vehicle for the first 5–7 days after installation. This allows the vinyl and adhesive to fully cure.
Hand Wash Only
Use a soft sponge or microfiber cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive brushes or strong detergents. Pressure washers should be used with caution — keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away and use a low-pressure, fan-style spray.
Avoid Automatic Car Washes
Most automatic washes use harsh brushes that can scratch or peel the wrap. Stick to hand washing for the safest clean.
Watch Out for Harsh Chemicals
Stay away from waxes, polishes, and solvents not designed for vinyl. These can damage the finish and reduce the lifespan of the wrap.
Dry Properly
After washing, dry with a clean microfiber towel to prevent water spots. Avoid air-drying in direct sunlight.
Spot Clean Quickly
Bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, and fuel spills can stain or damage the wrap. Clean these spots as soon as possible with warm, soapy water.
Park Smart
Whenever possible, park in a garage or shaded area. Prolonged sun exposure can fade or weaken the vinyl over time.
Protect the Edges
Avoid pulling, picking, or using high-pressure water near the edges of the wrap, as this can cause lifting.
